The service
RecToText provides free online audio and video transcription. The free tier allows a limited number of transcriptions per day, for files up to 10 minutes or 25MB. We may change these limits at any time.
Acceptable use
You agree to upload only content you have the right to process. You may not use the service for unlawful content, to infringe intellectual property rights, or to attempt to disrupt or overload the service. Automated or bulk abuse of the free tier is prohibited.
No warranty
The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Transcripts are generated by AI and may contain errors; always verify important content against the original audio. We are not liable for any damages arising from use of the service.
Your content
You retain all rights to your audio files and transcripts. We claim no ownership over content you process with RecToText.
